In connection with a trusted contact person in Rishikesh, we supported a young woman from Rija studying to become a nurse. It is important to us to support women so that they can have a better quality of life through good education and can use numerous skills to contribute to the country.

We continued to support people in need through the Kapoor Lodge Ashram in Nainital (Uttarkhand), victims of the corona pandemic and the flood of October 2021.
2021 EMERGENCY SITUATION: FLOODING IN NAINITAL
In October 2021, as if the pandemic wasn't bad enough,
Nainital was hit by terrible flooding that killed many lives and destroyed or badly damaged many buildings.
As a result, in addition to providing regular annual support to poor families,
we have provided additional financial assistance to Ashram Kapoor Lodge in these times of need.
COVID 19 EMERGENCY SITUATION:
Because of the persisting emergency situation
caused by the CORONA VIRUS and the relative lockdowns,
thousands of families are still in a health and food emergency situation.
Through the Ashram Kapoor Lodge Baba in Nainital
we are regularly providing financial support for families in need of food and clothes.
DHRUV BHAKTI CHARITABLE HOSPITAL - HARIDWAR
In Haridwar, in connection with Swami Balak Das Ji Maharaj and his Dhruv Bhakti Sewa Ashram Trust
we support a charitable hospital which offers medical services to destitute people.
At the moment the hospital has an emergercy department with it’s own pharmacy, a very efficient oftalmology department which makes an average of 3 cataracte surgeries a day, a women and a men department, laboratory and radiology.
One floor is entirely dedicated as shelter for Sadhus and destitute people.
The Hospital not only has it’s own cantine but also has its own very healthy cows which produce wonderful milk
and enough land that soon will be cultivated to produce vegetables.
The project is far from being finished, since still in need of different medical equipments.
We want to help this beautiful endeavour raising funds for the purchase of medical equipment as well as connecting with medical offices or institutions who would donate second hand equipment.
